Boarding Ladders

We are looking for a ladder for a 22-foot sailboat that we can hook over the side instead of permanent mount. It needs to be fairly long so that the steps extend down into the water. Also, preferable if we could have a little swim platform seat attached to ladder, but I have only seen those on the permanent mount ladder. Also preferable if it is compact for storage as possible.

The best option is the Gunwale EEz-In Hook Boat Ladder with 4 steps. There is nothing with a small swim step on it that hooks over the side. This ladder design has been around for half a century.
Ladders are an essential part of reentry gear on a vessel for an overboard boater - these compact ladders serve the purpose well by hooking on nearly anywhere along the towrail or gunwhale on either side as the need may be.

We recently bought a boat - fishing boat - but we like to swim and tube…problem is the difficulty to get back into the boat, our ladder has 3 steps and hooks on the side, tilts backward toward the boat when you try to use it….are there any ladders that would be made for an easier entry back onto the boat?

The Original Gunwale EEz-In Hook Boat Ladder with 4 steps had two different size hooks and stand-off legs.

This is a Windline Removable 4 Step Folding Pontoon Ladder and it has some deeper stand-offs.

Use a tennis ball on the stand-offs and it will offer better hull protection.

I am looking for a single step 9" high (+ or -).

We have a Single Dock Step which is 11-1/2" high. Perhaps it will work for your application.
