How to Measure your Boat for a Bimini Top www.go2marine.com A Three Step Process Step 1 - Measure the Width Decide where you want to mount your bimini top to the sides of your boat. Measure the distance across the boat from one mounting point to another. This is your WIDTH measurment. Step 2 - Measure the Length Determine what area from bow to stern you would like to shade on your boat. This is your LENGTH measurement.
