Broken
My CMC 7050 failed yesterday. Boat is still in the water till this evening, so I haven’t had an opportunity to inspect. Tilt just dropped down and now swings free, actuator makes the same noise up/down as before. Is there a shear pin that could have failed or is it likely something more drastic?

There is a pin. Pull the tilt motor and you will find a pin as well as a set of couplers.
Trim motor
Trim motor will not lower the drive. Can hear a "click" when the down switch is hit. Motor runs when the trailer switch is hit. 5.7 merc with alpha one.

If the motor goes up but not down, change the solenoid with the green wire. This should do the trick!
