fuel cap
Dear sir
I own a rinker 180 of the year 2000. I wish to change the fuel cap into a fuel cap with lock. I saw the perko fuel caps but dont know how to measure the size in order to fit. Can you help please? Part numbers which I want to buy are 86031 or 203771. But I dont know which one fits. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Is the original a plastic or metal cap? Sounds like a metal cap when you say those finer threads…

You are going to have to figure out the size. Likely it is 1.5". Perko usually stamps the fill with their name. Sorry, there is no listing of the parts that were fitted to the boat.
