I need to replace stock steering cylinder on a 1988 Searay Seville 16 Footer with 100hp Outboard Merc. It is leaking on both ends. What Do You Recommend? Submitted by: ERIC
If you have hydraulic steering there is a number or tag on the steering cylinder. With that number we can supply you with the correct seal kit.
Baystar pump/Seastar cylinder
I have a Baystar system on my 150hp. Can I use a Seastar cylinder with my Baystar pump and would I see some improvement in "ease of steering"? Answer: No - The helm should be matched to the cylinder. Submitted by: Kip
