convert to hydraulic steering
I have 21ft 1988 Chris Craft Sea Hawk with a 1994 Mecury 225. I want to convert to hydraulic, what kits are available that will fit and what length houses would I need? Submitted by: ajb1974
We have kits available. You will need to measure from the steering wheel to the side of the boat, down the hull and over to the center of the engine to pick the correct hose length.

We need the numbers off the old cable to match the length. You can find it stamped in the plastic jacket at the end.
OMC tru course
I have an 81 OMC Tru course steering set-up on my boat. ( chevy 305 / stringer 800 ) I was wondering what my options are for upgrading this system. I love the boat and it’s a great shape. It just would be great to have power steering of some sort. Are there and conversion kits? I can’t quite grasp how they would incorporate at the stern drive side as I know the OMC turns a gear left or right. Did OMC make a power steering option? Any help would greatly be appreciated. There are no kits available. You will need to buy a hydraulic helm pump, two hydraulic cylinders, hoses and fabricate small brackets to attach one cylinder to each side of the drive. It is a pricey project! You are looking at approximately 2200.00$

Steering Cable
I have a 1998 21ft Statos PEPD Bass Boat with a 1998 225 Johnson Venom. I was told I needed to change the steering cable but I do not know which actual cable to buy or if there is a actual kit and cable. Can you send me a link to the cable on your website? Submitted by: Travis
What is the number off the old cable? There is not master boat catelog - the numbers off the cable are they way to figure out a replacement.
