Never apply any sealant on a head gasket they go on dry.

Shipping it with US Postal Service is 82.00 dollars (7/28/2010) not including import duties, taxes and fees. We are also able to offer approximately the same rate using Federal Express Economy Service if you are flexible as to the date it ships. Parcels shipping to Japan leaving our facility on Wednesdays have the same rate, only take two days in transit and are fully trackable (if delivered to a large city.)

That engine is indeed old, sorry we cannot find that gasket set. You need to contact a dealer in vintage Mercury motors.
