gunnel rail coverage
I use a 12’ Sylvan aluminum row boat to get to my fiberglass boat on a mooring. I’m looking for something to cover the gunnel guard rail on the aluminum boat to prevent it from scratching my 23 ft. fiberglass boat while I am removing canvas’ before boarding. Submitted by: Debbie
Dock bumpers
I have a Newman industries roll out dock. I want to find bumpers that would protect my new pontoon boat from being damaged by impact with the corner or sides of the dock. This is truss construction 12" from top to bottom of the frame. I have a Shore Station vertical lift positioned about five feet closer to shore than the end of the dock. Is there any way to protect against damage from impact with the lift? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Submitted by: Terry
I think the Rubber Products are about the best available.
You could get a couple corners and then several sticks of these products.
For the posts that the lift moves up and down on, you might want something easily removable, like our Removable Post Bumper

Looking for a rubber piece that goes on the front corner of my bass boat. The wind is crazy here, and do have trouble loading at times. Any ideas? Submitted by: Jay
This sounds like a specific part from your boat manufacturer. If you could be a little more specific or email a picture we will try and source it for you.
Dock Edging - Do I need special corner pieces?
I have 130 ft of dock to protect with inner and outer corners. Houses a 23ft boat in a U-shape. 1) Do I need special corner pieces or will material like Taylor Made Commercial Grade P-Shape Edging wrap corners? 2) Can edging like the Taylor Made be purchased in longer coils then 10ft? The commercial grade bumber is flexible so bending into a U shape will not be a problem, however if you have 90 degree angles that you want to protect you will need to cut this or install a Corner Bumper. Some edging can be purchased in longer lengths, but shipping becomes the issue.
