Mariner problem
I have an old (82) 60 hp Mariner running well, and went to 1/4 speed suddenly. Now it will not go any faster but will turn rpm’s up if in neutral or out of the water. Any suggestions? Submitted by: harold
Start by checking all spark plugs and compression in each cylinder.
Lund Aluminum Boat
What is best way to maintenance a Lund Aluminum Boat in salt water use. Also leaving boat in FL until next winter & what should be done to prepare it to sit for 8 months in salt water air. Submitted by: Steve
You will want to talk to your local marina about bottom paint for aluminum boats.
As far as storing it, if it is out of the water, all you will need to do is get a
Boat Cover for it.
Divet achor release for a 1900cc polar boat...
I have a 1900cc polar boat. I use it primary in salt water. I want be able to lower the anchor by pulley. Answer An anchor divet is essentially a plate and roller - a Bow Roller - with a hinged base. You would need to build it for either the bow or stern - and decide how far out it is to be mounted. Submitted by: Harry Masters
