Perko 500 Series Straineer
I have Perko 500 series strainers on my 1987 Hatteras. One of them started leaking pretty badly, and I found that it has a crack running the full length of the cylinder (which is plastic) Do you know if and where I can buy a replacement cylinder? We just arrived in the Bahamas at West End! Submitted by: Al
We most likely can get the replacement cylinder, however we need to know the pipe size or the overall height to ensure it fits. I show that series came in 2", 2-1/2", or 3" pipe size. Shipping to the Bahamas is not a problem.

Water Filter System
I have placed an Everpure Water Purification System Part - 68469, Mfr No: 9252-00 in my cart. Can you advise if a compatible faucet is part of the system. If not, can you advise on a compatible faucet so I may also purchase it. Submitted by: Errol Kelly
The system is designed to filter incoming water going to the standard faucet. Are you planning to use this for just a drinking water tap?
sea strainer basket
I am looking for 2 sea strainer baskets for a Perko 500 strainer. Your site lists them but it also says the basket you sell fits the 493 series too but I know they do not. Please let me know if you carry them. The 500 strainer has two compartments were the 493 only has one.

According to Perko, the 99D strainer will fit both the 493 and 500 series raw water intakes. The schematic on the page is directly from Perko.
Search 0500 in Perko’s website then select "replacements parts."
The part number is a "sample part number" and the basket can be ordered in stainless or monel. If it ends with 99D it will fit.
