aerator hookup
I have a 10’bassbuster with a livewell. i just replaced the old aerator pump which was a 360ghp and replaced it with a 500ghp. after it was hooked up i can hear the motr working but im not getting water pumped in the live well. can i have the polarity reversed? i have my positive lines coming from the battery and the positive line from the aerator going to a toggle switch and the ground line hooked up to the boats ground line. help please?

Make sure the intake is not plugged! It is possible to reverse the polarity on most pumps and have them run backwards.
live well bait pump shut down at 2,000 rpm
Problem with bait well pump shutting down when going on plane(over 2k rpm) New cartrige filter pump Johnson #3870, 750gph,12vdc. will restart if I go to slower speed and turn switch off/on. No clog in line, seems like a problem with water pick up, no change in this though. It used to work fine seems like prop cavitation is causing no flow? Have you any help or suggestions for me please, I am out of ideas.

Bottom line, it worked before and now it doesn’t. It has perhaps gotten tired or has a damaged blade and it can’t draw when there is aerated water. I would replace it with the Livewell Pump.

bait well plumbing hook up
I need plumbing diagram for hooking up 2 livewells with 1 pump and where does the pump draw its water from lake or where to put the intake in the boat hull. thanks Answer: Most people draw it in through a thru-hull fitting. In a simple system, you could use the ’hose over the side’ method.
