I need to use the old bellhousing and I am wondering if I can order the later starter from you and have everything fit. The casting numbers on the side of the block are : 627. We will need to know the size or weight of the starter, is the starter approximately 20 pounds or more like 6. They had 2 possibilites the old delco heavy duty and the newer style gear reduction. let me know and I will tell you the best option.
