Regarding the fuel shut off...
Looking at previous question on fuel shut off, please tell me which side of electric fuel pump do you mount the sensor on? Answer The Oil Pressure Sensor is mounted on the motor. If low oil pressure is detected, the electric fuel pump is shut off and the motor is shut down to stop further damage. Submitted by: ken
How do I make an automatic fuel shutoff to an electric pump?
I have a 454 chevy engine in a Gibson houseboat. I have put electric Fuel pump on it and the insurance company wants me to put a fuel shut off on engine. I have been told I could get a tee and put a sensor on it and hook up my electric pump to it. Do you have any of these parts and numbers. Also I see you have a fuel shut off. How does it work? Answer Stan we do have a Low Oil Pressure Switch that will shut off your fuel is available. You just hook your fuel pump wiring across the sensor. Submitted by: STAN
