Which engine mount do I use on my engine?
I have a volvo model 2002 diesel in my cape dory sailboat, 18 hp w/v drive transmission. The motor mounts on it now are I believe 5/8" stud and measure 6 1/4" from bottom of base to top of stud, the centerline of the mounting holes is 5". Which mount should i use? Submitted by: robert
You have an odd combination. Most mounts for an engine this size use a 4" on center mount with a 5/8" stud. All our mounts with a 5" foot have a 3/4" stud.
