What other parts do I need for my Vetus Stern Thruster Tunnel?
I just purchased the Vetus Stern Thruster Tunnel and now need the 12v power motor and the propeller for this item.

Bow thruster
I have a 48 foot Hi Star sedan. What bow thruster do you recommend for up to12 knot cross wind? On my old boat the circuit would trip after about 20 seconds. Submitted by: Roger Burpee
Wesmar Bow thruster
Our boat has a Wesmar T8E bow thruster with an 8" 3-blade bronze prop that was installed in 1992. Do you have a replacement prop for this model(hopefully much cheaper than Wesmar charges for a replacement bronze prop)? Submitted by: Jack
Unfortunately Wesmar is it for that prop and they no longer have a direct replacement available. We can get you a propeller but it will need the shaft to be shimmed due to the size difference between the older and newer style propellers. The cost is around 535.00$ plus freight.

Wesmar will sell you one for .00. You can use a plastic over flow bottle available at any auto parts store.
Chosing a bow thruster for my 30' Grady White Marlin.

Depending on the conditions that you experience while docking, you would have a couple choices. This 140mm Bow Thruster would be adequate if you were using it on a boat that sees little use coming into the dock. It would offer enough ’push’ in most conditions. This 185mm Bow Thruster would work well if your boat is used frequently or in nearly any docking condition.
