electric boat stove, burner not working
I have a single burner coil electric stove that uses gas as well,but the electric coil wont heat up and the on light doesnt come on either. I am getting 110v to the stove but not to the burner.I noticed the 120v on the on light. Does it require more power to operate? than 110v Submitted by: rookm
No, if it is a 110v it does not need more power - 110/120v is the same thing. So is there power at the burner prongs? I think the ’on light’ is after the burner in the circuit. The burner is just a resistor, can you measure it with an ohms meter to see if it is burned out?

Updating boat stove on a 87 Trogan boat...
I have a 87 trogan boat with a electric/alcohol stove. can I update with a new 2 burner one that will fit right in? Its a Princess by Seaward. Answer Yes, in fact, most of the stoves have a similar case size - you may also find a Dickinson that works well for you. Toggle switch for Princess range
I have a Princess range on our boat, that we have used for one summer. The toggle switch that goes from burners to oven seems to have malfunctioned. When the burners are on and the switch is flipped, the oven does not come on and the burner does not go off. We are in northern Michigan. Who can repair this?
