Navigation Lights by International Dock Products

What are the different types of Navigation Lights?
Post a question or comment about Navigation Lights.

"Masthead light" means a white light on the centreline of the vessel showing from right ahead to 22.5 degrees abaft the beam on either side of the vessel.

"Sidelights" means a green light on the starboard side and a red light on the port side each showing from right ahead to 22.5 degrees abaft the beam on its respective side. If the vessel is less than 20 metres (66 ft) long, the sidelights may be combined in one fixture carried on the centreline of the vessel.

"Sternlight" means a white light placed as nearly as practicable at the stern showing 67.5 degrees from right aft on each side of the vessel.

"Towing light" means a yellow light having the same characteristics as a "sternlight" defined above.

"All-round light" means a light visible from 360 degrees of the horizon.

"Flashing light" means a light flashing faster than 120 flashes per minute.

Navigation Lights for 1986 Bayliner 18.8 Capri / cuddy

Where can we locate an all round stern light that plugs in to socket on rear starboard side of boat?

Submitted by: Troy Grimsley

Take a look at these Pole Mounted Lights. It is likely a Perko.
You will need to know what Bayliner used as a manufacturer for that socket then we can see if there is anything that will work. You will need to contact a Bayliner dealer for this information.

Replacement bulbs

2004 catalina sailboat. Need to replace the Anchor Light bulb, Steaming Light and the deck light. Can you tell me what the OE part numbers are and where I can get replacements?

Submitted by: Kevin

You would need to look at the numbers on the bulbs. Boat builders, unlike car manufacturers, may source the parts for assembly and finishing from many places.

There is no master list of the fitted parts - except, perhaps - with the original boat builder.

If you tell us the light manufacturer and series or type, we can come up with the bulbs.

Aqua Signal Series 25 navigation lights

I’m in search of replacement lenses for Aqua Signal Series 25 navigation lights. Specifically: Bi-color, Stern, Anchor, and Masthead/Foredeck Combo. Do you carry just the lenses?

Submitted by: Terry

We do have some Aqua Signal Parts available but we will need part numbers to what you need.

Looking for Pontoon Navigation lighting

I am in the process of refurbishing a 1998 Premier Pontoon. I would like to up-date the horn, navigation and docking lights with the "3-n-1" pod type lighting fixtures currently used by many manufactures. My preference is for deck mounting that is compatible with a curved bow. Do you know how or where I could source this?

We carry a wide array of Navigation Lighting, if you don’t see the specific style you are looking for, it is likely in our warehouses, but not yet published on our web site. Contact our sales department for further assistance.
