You will need to look for a cover that accommodates anything that sticks above the gunnels; like a windshield or seats.

None of the boat covers that are built ‘aftermarket’ have snaps. The original snap cover that many bow riders have or the cockpit covers that snap to the boat are only available from the manufacturer – and generally are not available after the boat design is out of production.

With the age of your boat, you will need to locate a local marine canvas shop to have them made for you.

From what I can tell, the 205 replaced the 202 in 2005. And it appears the name is all that changed. However, we can’t be sure so we have to go by what the manufacturers publish, and the manufacturers only add a year / model the description if they have patterned that year / model or tested the cover itself.

It does appear that the same hull which is 19.83 feet long by 100 inches wide was used for both the 202 and 205 models for several years, but the windshield might have been moved slightly and there might be other changes above the gunwale which would interfere with the fit of the cover.

You could try contacting Scout or a local scout dealer to enquire about changes over the years. Or you could get a Semi-Custom Cover designed for center console offshore fishing boats.

This price includes the brokerage but not the duties and taxes. You will be responsible for that upon arrival of the order to you in Canada.
