1978 omc 800
Need to replace lower unit. Is it possible to upgrade to king cobra or any other upgrade without pulling boot on 350chevy? on 1978 Searay. Submitted by: larry
The last drive you want to use is a King Cobra. There are little or no parts available. That being said, you will need to find all the later model parts and re-structure the transom to accomodate any other drive. This will not be worth the expense or labor involved - just stay with what you have.
