waterproof jacket?
A jacket I received in the winter was comfortable but the seams on the shoulders leaked.Is this normal? There isn’t a style name to this jacket, just that it was made for Pearl Northwest inc. Seattle. I have another style of yours which I use when coaching and it’s brilliant. Was hoping to have the same result with the smaller one. Submitted by: bernie
Most of the jackets for Pearl Northwest (Dutch Harbor Gear) are waterproof with sealed seams so it is certainly unusual to hear of one that leaked. However depending on the style, it might have been one that is water-resistant which doesn’t necessarily have sealed seams. Also, the dryer can wreak havoc with sealed seams, as the heat can remove the waterproof coating. Did you purchase both of these jackets from Go2marine? If you can give us an order number, we might be able to provide more info. Customer replied with: Thank you for your response.The jacket was bought at Fred Meyer,Tacoma,in December and it’s never been washed.Wish I had more info. G2M response: Perhaps that store chain receives their own unique version of the jacket that we offer.
