Starter for a 5.8L 1989 OMC King Cobra

We are trying to find a replacement starter for the above engine. We have been finding conflicting information and don’t want to screw up. We live outside Seattle and wondered if this is something we could pick up from G0 2 Marine??

Can you tell me witch is # 1 cylander on a omc 4.3 lt v6 gm engine?

If you look at the front of the engine, it is the first cylinder on the right hand side.
