Cream colored oil
I have a 1984 OMC 2.5 lt. I determined that I had a blown freeze plug on the top rear of engine so I pulled engine and confirmed. I now notice that the oil is the color of an extremely light cup of coffee. How do I determine whether the block is cracked or whether it may be a bad riser and or manifold? Or whether it could be a bad gasket? Submitted by: steve
The most common failure is the exhaust manifold. Take it to a radiator shop and have it pressure checked.
