labor hours
When converting an omc 5.7 outdrive to an se116 replacement how many hrs. of labor are generlly required if done by an authorized marine mechanic? Submitted by: william
Hello, it depends. If he has done this before he will be much quicker than if it is his first time. I would estimate 8-10 hours first time.

Mercruiser sterndrive OW878498
I stripped the threads for the hose going into the starboard (right if facing the front of the boat)trim cylinder. I don’t know of any fix except to buy a new trim cylinder. The number in the subject line is the serial number of the outdrive. Is part number 165086 the correct part? Submitted by: Mark
