How much rub rail do you need for your boat?
There are two ways to determine how much rub rail you will need to purchase. One is to measure the amount already on your boat & add ten feet (10'). The other is to measure the length & width of your boat, double this amount & add ten feet (10').
The extra 10' allows for some trial & error.

Rub rail

I have just completed restoration on a 1961 Century Corsair. It turned out great but the old rub rails are trash, they were aluminum. Can you tell me what I would need to replace these? I would like the longest lengths possible 1 inch wide for a 16-foot boat.

Stainless rub rails inserts

What would it take to replace the 1/2 inch vinyl rub insert on my 20ft Malibu boat with stainless? How do the corners bend? Joints?

When a boat is being built, the manufacturer has the corners stamped from the SS using a profile pattern. You would have to cut, weld and polish your own corners made from the straight pieces.

Gheenoe rub rail?

Do you have rub rails to cap over the older aluminum rub rails on earlier model Gheenoe.
Mine is a 13 foot lowside model.

It does not come in 50’ lengths because it is a ridged product. There are 1/2" Stainless Steel Rub Rails - Solid Back Half Oval available.

Looking for a Columbia 30' rub rail...

I am looking to replace my rub rail for a 1973 Columbia sailboat. The rub rail fits in a channel. The rub rail is 2 7/8 wide and about 3/4 high.
