What is the best life jacket or vest for a non swimmer?
What is the best life jacket or vest for a non swimmer? Answer Not being able to swim while boating brings special challenges. There are several types (or classes) of Life Jackets or Vests (PFD’s) Any Type V (when inflated) or Type II & III will keep an average sized, concious person, floating upright so they can breath. A Type I PFD will keep an unconcious person upright and breathing. PFD - Personal Floatation Devices Types are used as a guidlines for choice.
