Baier Marine Hatches

Baier Hatches use a patented strong-back system for securing the deck cover to the deck ring. There are only 2 moving parts on a hatch. The Baier hatch is simple, strong, more reliably watertight and serviceable! All Baier hatches have been approved by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), the US Coast Guard, the US Army Corps of Engineers and the Canadian Department of Transportation.

Baier Oval Hatches Baier Oval marine hatches are manufactured in America and most often used where beam spacing does not permit the use of a round cover. Each oval boat hatch has an underside escape turning bar for safety. Available in either a lift-out hatch or hinged hatch. A turning wheel for the underside is optional.

Baier Square Hatches Baier Square marine hatches. Each oval boat hatch has an underside escape turning bar for safety. A turning wheel is optional. Deck rings are either steel (for welding to a steel deck) or aluminum (for welding to aluminum or bolting to other materials).

Baier Round Hatches Baier Round marine hatches are the most popular in the line of hatches. Like all Baier hatches, they are available in cast steel or cast aluminum. Combings and a turning wheel for the underside are optional. Available in either a lift-out hatch or hinged hatch. Each oval boat hatch has an underside escape turning bar for safety.
