*The Raglan style uses four main neck to underarm seams eliminating shoulder seams for better weather protection.
This was originally developed with steelhead fishermen in mind. They wanted a strong fabric so they could push through the brush to get down to the river. Most of them wore hip boots or waders, so rain pants wasn't an issue. Because of it's longer length, the weight of this fabric is just an appreciative smidge lighter than the regular commercial grade Quinault gear.
