What comes with the Newport solid fuel burner 00NEWSF ie,Flue damper, and flue pipes if not do you sell these accessories seperately. thanks.mel

The heater comes complete except for the pipes damper.
wood burning stove heater
Does anyone know of a small wood burning stove or heater other than Dickinson Newport or Navigator Sardine? I am looking for something that can burn wood and heat an area 18’ x 8’.

You are rather limited in your choices for a marine stove or heater that burns solid fuel. For obvious reasons, most boats do not use a solid fuel. It sounds, however, like you are trying to heat a small cabin, tiny home or perhaps a houseboat… The Newport is unique in that it is bulkhead mounted.
Here is an article on Extremely Tiny Woodstoves. Navigator Stove Works builds beautiful (although expensive) stoves. I have used the Shanty Stove and it is affordable and heats well. There are also the stoves made by Shipmate Stoves The Dickinson Newport Solid Fuel is hard to beat as a heater - it is efficient and mounts off the floor, out of the way - but it is not a stove. If you are willing to order from Europe or Canada, there are a number of stove suppliers for small cabins located there. Honestly, those are even dwindling as we send a number of Newport Diesel Heaters to Norway, Canada and Sweden every year. Pound for pound, diesel fuel is hard to beat and easy to use.
BTU Adequacy
Would the BTU output be sufficient to heat a 36 foot sailboat? What is the fuel consumption rate approximately when using charcoal briquettes? Does the unit need a heat shield if mounted directly to a wood bulkhead? Thanks.

Depending on the climate, your boat design, insulation and the temperature difference between the inside and the outside, this stove should work for you. I would need a lot more information to speculate on fuel usage. It does need a heat shield, here is the full Installation Manual.
