Is the Kayak portable and reinforced bottom??

(1) Is the Kayak portable?
Meaning, can it fit in a bag?

(2) Does the bottom have reinforced resistance fabric to rock and corals?

Answer

It is portable. The product weight is less than 27 lbs. and it will fit in a duffel bag or backpack. The bottom is not 2 ply, but the material is quite thick and durable enough for river rocks.

Answer:

Depending on experience, this could be used in class IV, with a spray shield over the bow. Class 3 and below is more like it. As always, while wearing a PFD.

Conditions and experience are the big factors when trying to determine if a piece of equipment can be used.
