Q: I would like to replace the steering wheel on my 1987 Invader 18ft bow-rider. When I popped the cap in the middle of the wheel there where three screws holding it in place. Can you recommend a replacement? I thought the teleflex SW59691P might be a good fit but I am not sure how it mounts. Can you help? A: If you have cable steering then it has a 3/4" tapered shaft and there should be a nut holding the wheel on the shaft, you may need a wheel puller to remove the old hub assembly( the hub assembly is what the 3 screws are mounted to) the wheel you have chosen will work fine.
