Additional Description
Bore size needs to be called in for factory specification and a quote generation.

Autopilots are a popular accessory for sailboats of any size. Although primarily relied upon to steer a true course over long distances and give the helmsman an "extra hand" while performing other tasks, a critical but often overlooked aspect of an autopilot is its ability to serve as a backup steering system in event of a steering gear failure. That is why Edson recommends installing your below-deck autopilot to an independent Edson tiller arm. This allows use of your autopilot as an 'electronic emergency tiller'. This will give your boat redundancy in its steering system in the event of steering gear or cable failure. The autopilot installation can be accomplished quickly and economically with an Edson autopilot tiller arm. Edson's engineers, working with autopilot manufacturers, have developed a versatile family of tiller arms that are available in a variety of sizes to accommodate your installation requirements.
