A hydraulic steering system consists of:

One or more steering pump(s)
Separate or built-up non-return valve(s)
A certain length of tubing, made of synthetic material, copper or steel
Hydraulic steering cylinder

Can this part be rebuilt? Vetus MTC 7210 hydraulic steering arm

I have a Vetus MTC 7210 hydraulic steering arm that has been replaced once already because it leaks. Can this part be rebuilt? or do I need to buy another one? Thanks

Answer

Vetus does make a seal kit for that cylinder if you can find someone to rebuild it, we will need to order this in, it will be approximately 2 weeks, and your cost is 94.09 plus freight. Let me know if you want to order I will need to add this to the site.
