Aquamet® AQ19 or AQ22 precision polished and ground nitrogen modified stainless steel shafts
Balanced and straightened to a tolerance of 0.002" on 42" intervals
Manufacturing tolerances equal to or greater than ABYC, SAE, and Navy standards
Available with prop nuts, keys and Buck Algonquin couplings (Split preferred) on request

Aquamet® 19 is a modified Type 304 stainless alloy that is strengthened by a nitrogen addition. Corrosion resistance of Aquamet 19 shafting is superior to Type 304 stainless steel. Aquamet® 22 provides the highest level of corrosion resistance along with high strength and is superior to Type 316 stainless steel. It is particularly valuable for pleasure boats which normally are operated infrequently, spending much of their time tied up at docks where corrosion factors are at a hgh level.

1) To order a Custom Shaft, you will need the following information:

A = Shaft Diameter
LS = Length of Shaft
Shaft Style (Double-Taper or Straight Shank)

2) To order just a Coupler you will need:

Transmission: Make and Model if known

Bore Diameter (Shaft Diameter)
Register Type (Internal or External)
F = Flange Diameter
C = Bolt Circle Diameter
D = Diameter of Bolt
B = Register Diameter (a.k.a registration ring or pilot)
Bore style (Tapered or Straight)

3) To order a Complete Assembly:

You will need all of the above information as well as
LA = Length of Assembly
Drive Type (Direct Drive or V-Drive)
