The 150 Cam-Matic, the original ball bearing cam cleat, is still the most popular cleat in the world. Tough Hardkote anodized aluminum pawls and base dissipate heat easier than plastic, and thus can withstand years of high-load, high-wear applications. The 280 Offshore Cam-Matic complements mid-range blocks and serves well in high load applications on larger boats.
The 365 and 423 Carbo-Cams® are breakthrough plastic cam cleats designed for use on high performance boats where weight and performance are critical. Tough carbon matrix pawls offer very good wear characteristics and ride on UV protected black ball bearings. Unique easy entry system allows lines to be engaged without being drawn through the cam. Therefore, controls can be precisely adjusted and the line can be engaged without further tensioning and with absolutely minimal backlash slippage. A stainless steel wear strip protects the base when entry or exit leads are not fair in the vertical plane. The 412 double Cam-Matic accepts two lines and is designed for use in two speed mainsheets and other special applications. It is supplied with a special stainless steel eyestrap.
