Fit Issues

Important Note: If your boat is equipped with a lift-assist style trolling motor please contact us before ordering a cover. Lift-assist style trolling motors are larger and higher than the traditional trolling motors and customers may experience fit issues where the cover is not larger enough in the bow area to accommodate these larger trolling motors.

Just a few of the trolling motors that we know have a lift-assist and may cause fit issues:
Minnkota Lift-Assist Mount: Patented Lift-Assist Design cuts the weight of stow and deploy in half. Features a stainless steel, nitrogen gas-charged spring. Includes but may not be limited to: Minnkota Ultrex, Terrova and Fortrex trolling motor models.
Motorguide Lift-Assist Mount: Unsure if these have caused issues yet – but the possibility remains for the Motorguide Tour, Tour Pro models w/ Lift Assist.
