Poor Quality

Just purchased 2 pair of these because I'm tired of rust in my boat. I haven't used them on the water yet but my first impression is not good. Of course they were made in China. A good quality ss in none magnetic. S.S. 316 is about as good as it gets. My magnet stuck to these plyers as well as it did to my carbon steel set. I tried to cut some downrigger cable with them and apparently they are not made to cut anything. My recommendation is to spend a little more money for plyers that are made of 316 S.S. yes there are some out there.
