Description
Swedish Spun Oakum, sold by the pound, Spun Oakum is tarred jute fiber used in shipbuilding. Use this Spun Oakum on wide or deep seams prior to cotton caulking or sealant for caulking or packing the joints of timbers in wooden vessels and the deck planking.
This is not to be confused with plumbers oakum.
