Taylor Made Products
For more than a century, the Taylor Made company has served the marine industry. Taylor Made products began in 1908 with Nelson Taylor, who launched his canvas business that year. Nelson had the vision of a brand built on a foundation of craftsmanship, innovation, and a commitment to quality and extraordinary customer service.
The company grew and prospered, and when Nelson Taylor passed away in 1946, he left behind an incredible legacy of success for his son, Willard. Following in his father’s footsteps, Willard Taylor sought to increase the company’s capacity even more through new technology, design, improved manufacturing processes, and product development. Willard proved to be another successful visionary.
The recreational boating market was flourishing, and Willard was ready. He helped make the name, "Taylor Made" well-known within the marine industry, and thanks to his leadership we now have Taylor Made products like canvas covers, canvas tops, acrylic windshields, vinyl fenders, and more. It's been over 130 years since the birth of the company, and Taylor Made has become a household name for boaters.
Even as a new generation of Taylors is stepping up to the wheelhouse to lead the company, their products are still made right here in the USA, from the biggest Taylor Made boat covers down to the smallest chafe guards. Speaking of Taylor Made boat covers, we have so many here at Go2marine to choose from that it would impossible to list them here. But there are several ways to find the one that is just right for your boat.
You can start on this page by choosing the make and model of your boat. You can also choose whether you want your boat or personal watercraft cover to be semi-custom or fully custom-made since, as the clever Taylor Made name suggests, they do both. Or, you can go to the boat type page and choose a semi-custom cover based on the type of boat you own, or for even bigger savings check out the economy boat covers.
Taylor Made bimini tops are hugely popular as well, so if you're in the market for a bimini top or sunshade instead, check out the great choices we have, including the many beautiful color options. You'll find different Taylor Made bimini tops such as the tower and extended pylon types, as well as tops for pontoon boats. Sunshades include T-top and gazebo styles, plus two types for pontoon boats: gazebo, and shade and privacy bow enclosure.
But the company offers far more than just boat covers and canvas shade products; who hasn't heard of the Taylor Made fenders and Taylor Made buoys? From fishing marker and PWC buoys to the "big buoys" (mooring buoys, that is), we have Taylor Made buoys for almost any boater. As for the Taylor Made fenders, we carry just about everything from their Pontoon Fence Savers to Super Duty inflatable yacht fenders to self-centering Mega-Fenders for 70 to 200-foot boats, and yes...even mermaid fenders.
But it isn't just pleasure boaters who appreciate the many types of fenders we have to choose from. Taylor Made products have historically been economically priced without sacrificing quality, and Taylor Made buoys are commonly used in the fishing industry--known for being financially frugal and brutally harsh on equipment. Buoys are not only used to protect the hulls from damage but also to keep nets afloat or used to mark equipment locations.
Endurance in the marine environment is part of what supports Taylor Made's impressive quality reputation, apparent in all their products whether it is the Taylor Made dock edging, or their profusion of flags and mounting hardware. Over 100 Taylor Made flags fly on the Go2marine website where you'll find regulatory and etiquette flags, country, state, and military flags, and a huge selection of fun recreational flags for the fisher, pirate, and partier.
Go2marine stocks more Taylor Made products than a pirate's rum and booty warehouse. From their quality canvas products to fenders, buoys, flags, and so much more, you'll find many thousands of their products right here. Who needs that pirate warehouse, anyway?
