DESCRIPTION

The Mantus Anchor Swivel S2, sized for 5/16" to 3/8" (8-10mm) chain, will be the strongest link in your boat's anchor chain. When your anchor chain requires a swivel, using a Mantus Anchor Swivel is stronger than its corresponding Grade 40 chain. (WLL is 1/5 UBS) The Mantus Anchor Swivel's integrated swivel shackle design completely eliminates side loading. This is the safest anchor swivel on the market when used correctly.

The swivel pin on the chain side of the swivel is the strength-limiting piece since the geometry of the chain determines the pin size. The Mantus anchor swivel and shackle is the first swivel to feature an oblong pin to maximize the pin strength. Mantus used computer modeling and physical testing and created a swivel that is the strongest link in your anchor chain.

Heavy Duty But Deceptive Marketing

This is a heavy duty item and is considered the best swivel. Bizarrely, the swivel is not polished like the Mantus marketing photos, the box it comes in, and the included parts list. It is a rough looking cast item. I asked Mantus and they told me it was never meant to look like the item they show it to be.

Warranty:

We will send a product replacement for an authorized return following the completion of receiving and inspection at our facility. The replacement will ship within four business days following our receipt of your return (excluding weekends and national holidays).

We do not send advance replacements or replacements before we receive and inspect the returned merchandise.

To receive a replacement quicker, you may place a new order for the same item (shipping not included), and we will issue a refund for the full value of the returned product (including shipping), upon completion of our return process.
