Fuel tank for 1998 and Up Mercury Marine, All Johnson/Evinrude, and most Yamaha Marine outboard engine applications with 2 prong barb engine fitting.

(1) 3 Gallon Fuel Tank with sight gauge
(1) 6' of Universal Fuel Line with Primer Bulb
(1) 1/4" Barb Quick disconnect to fuel connector

Answer:
Overall Dimensions of the tank are: 16-7/8" L x 8-5/8" W x 9-5/8" H

Question: Does this fuel tank have the proper fitting for a tohatsu 6H.P. outboard
 Answer: The fuel line assembly threads into the tank. It comes with 3 connectors for the motor side, the Yamaha one should fit the Tohatsu

Question: Will the connectors fit my 1978 40hp Mariner outboard engine?

Answer: The Mercury connector should work, that will be the white one in the kit.


Question: My last tank(Tempo) developed a split/crack/separation along the horizontal seam…it was a two piece tank that was somehow fused together.Is this tank a one piece tank or a two piece tank?

 I don't think you are going to find a 1 piece tank anywhere. Not plastic anyway. They will be 2 piece with the seam "welded" together
