DESCRIPTION
Pertronix 1581LS Ignitor electronic ignition conversion for Prestolite 8 cylinder engine applications. This Prestolite Electronic Ignition Conversion Kit works for both Clip Down and Screw Down type distributor caps. (Replades Pertronix 1581 for clip down and 1582 for screw down distributors.)

- 12-volt negative ground
- Delivers twice the voltage to the spark plugs, increasing horsepower, fuel economy, and spark plug life
- 2:1 improvement over "points" in current fall time for increased coil output
- Rotating cobalt magnets trigger a Hall Effect integrated circuit, no points to burn, no moving parts to wear out
- Epoxy molding makes our module impervious to dirt, oil, grease and moisture
- Stable timing, no need for any adjustments
- Will trigger most multi-spark CD Ignitions
- Legal in all 50 states and Canada (C.A.R.B. E.O. #D-57-22)
Fits Screw Down V8 Prestolite distributor numbers IBM 7011-A, C & D, 7013-A, C & D, 7016, 7017, 7019-A, AS, B, BS, C, CS or S.
Fits Clip Down V8 Prestolite distributor numbers IBM4106, 4115, 4116, 4119-A 7007-A, 7011 - A & D.
