To get the best fit for your boat lift canopy, follow these essential measuring guidelines:

How to Measure Your Boat Lift Frame

Shore Station & Lakeshore Canopy Aluminum Frames

  • Length: Measure the 4” round side tube (without the ends) and add 24”.
    • Example: If your side tube measures 20’, add 24” to get a 22’ canopy length.
  • Width: Measure the inside width of the canopy frame OR the inside width between the boat lift uprights.

Shore Station Steel Frame

  • Width: Measure the inside width at the bottom of the frame (in inches).
  • Length: Count the number of loose ribs in the frame (do not count the ends).
    • 7 ribs → 19’
    • 8 ribs → 21’
    • 9 ribs → 23’
    • 10 ribs → 25’

Example: If the inside width is 98” and you have 8 loose ribs, your frame size is 21’ x 98”.

Shoremaster, Harbormaster (Rounded Corners) & Triton

  • Length: Measure the total outside length or the side channel (without ends) and add 36”.
  • Width: Measure the inside width of the frame or the inside width of the boat lift uprights.

Great Lakes, Hewitt Flat & Hewitt Flared Ends

  • Length: Measure the total outside length of the canopy frame.
  • Width: Measure the total outside width of the canopy frame.
