Description
The SeaStar PA1200-3 Power Assist unit is a 12 V electronically controlled gear pump module for hydraulic steering systems. It includes a 15′ harness and ORB fittings, and boosts steering force by routing fluid from your helm pump through its internal gear mechanism. The PA1200-3 is rated for up to 1,000 psi, draws 40 A continuously (60 A peak), and reverts to manual operation in case of failure. It’s suitable for multi-station systems, autopilots, or high-torque applications, and meets ABYC, CE, ISO 10592, and NMMA standards while being ignition protected per SAE J-1171.
