In some situations, having a quick release fuel line connection isn’t required. Boaters can eliminate the connector at a portable fuel tank by installing a Sierra 1/4" NPT male to 3/8" hose fitting. Securing the fuel line to the tank will reduce the chances of a leak caused by a worn or damaged connector. This brass fitting is corrosion and fuel resistant with sharp barbs to secure 3/8" fuel hose. For the best possible seal, we recommend using fuel resistant thread sealant for the tank connection.
