The Amerlock 400, 2 gallon white kit is a two-component, high solids epoxy coating that will create a protective barrier for our boat.
Amerlock 400 is a high-solids, high-build epoxy protective coating for tough jobs on boats and marine surfaces needing a coating that seals and protects in just one application. Besides its suitability as a maintenance coating on existing steel structures, it is an excellent all-in-one primer and topcoat for new, unpainted steel in industrial facilities, on bridges, tank exteriors, offshore facilities, piping, roofs, water towers and other exterior weathered exposures.
Amerlock 400 resists high humidity and moisture, and is compatible with prepared damp surfaces when pre-application blasting is impractical or impossible.
Amerlock 400 cures through a wide temperature range, and is available in a variety of colors. While it is a self-priming topcoat over most existing coatings, it can be overcoated with a wide range of topcoats for extended weatherability or special situations. Its chemical resistance to splash/spillage, fumes and immersion in neutral, fresh and salt water makes Amerlock 400 an excellent choice for a wide variety of general maintenance applications.
