Style A-external hinge. It is anodized heavy-duty aluminum frames. 1-1/2" height above deck it has extra high sealing lip on the base. It is built with heavy duty acrylic top and heavy duty hinges. This hatch has no sharp corners or snag lines or sails. It is quick acting, and has adjustable tie down dogs as well as locked vent position.
