ShoreTex Warranty / Return Policy ShoreTex is committed to providing high-quality products and service. If you are not satisfied with your custom, semi-custom boat cover, or boatlift canopy cover, you may return it within 30 days for a refund, minus a 25% restocking fee. Non-Refundable Items Any cover (custom or semi-custom) ordered with modifications or customizations such as trolling motors or kicker motors. Any cover after customer-requested modifications have been performed. Modifications If there is an issue with your cover, ShoreTex will attempt to modify it. All modifications require an RA#, pre-paid freight to and from the factory, and are non-refundable. Fit Notes Custom covers are patterned for standard factory boats. Aftermarket accessories such as wave wackers, rod holders, anchor winches, electronic mounts, bow or transom trolling motors, or aftermarket towers may affect fit. Extra material is available for DIY or local modifications. Trolling Motors Covers are patterned to fit the largest bow-mounted trolling motors due to variations in size and mounting angle. Detach plates or quick-release brackets are recommended for the best fit. Covers with trolling-motor modifications are non-refundable. Travel Covers Travel Tuff, Prism, and Elite custom covers are warranted for highway use. Normal wear and tear, including seam repairs and small tears, is covered. Excessive wind whip or fraying is evaluated at ShoreTex's discretion. Damage to the boat or equipment while traveling is not covered. Traveling with motorhoods may cause rubbing on outboard housings. General Warranty Terms ShoreTex warrants materials and workmanship at the time of manufacture. Seam failures or reinforced-area wear within the warranty period will be repaired or replaced once the customer prepays freight. Defective items on arrival will be corrected and return freight reimbursed. Not Covered Normal use and weathering. Environmental staining. Mold and mildew. Misuse, abuse, or neglect. Improper protection. Accidents or Acts of Nature. Material-Specific Warranties Prism Custom Covers: 5-year warranty covering material and construction. Travel Tuff Custom Covers: 5-year warranty covering material and construction. Elite Custom Covers: 5-year warranty covering material and construction. All covers with specialized modifications are non-refundable. Returns require factory authorization. 5-Year Warranty Breakdown Year 1: 70% discount on replacement. Year 2: 60% discount. Year 3: 40% discount. Year 4: 20% discount. Year 5: Free repair if possible. If beyond repair, replacement cost equals retail price minus residual value. ShoreTex reserves final determination of warranty status.
