Description

C.S. Johnson's “Captain Hook” Chain Snubber can be used a multiple ways on your boat. Use this snubber hook with your favorite nylon rope.

  1. Use it attached to a and relieve tension from your windlass while anchored by snubbing the chain overboard and tying the line off to a cleat or samson post on deck.
  2. Use the snubber on deck to securely hold the chain in your anchor roller by tying it off on a cleat while under way for piece of mind.
  3. Relieve the tension on your windlass by attaching the snubber to the chain in the anchor roller and pulling back it tying off securely.
  • T-316 stainless
  • 1/2" stock
NOTE: Always keep bitter end of anchor chain secure in windlass while using chain snubber.
