- Den Haan was founded in 1922, began as a manufacturer of navigation and interior lighting for inland and seagoing vessels. Increasing interest in decorative lamps led Den Haan to the development of a wide range of decorative nautical lamps. Each lamp, many of them replicas of old models, is made of solid brass with a polished and stove lacquered finish, giving them distinctive style and quality.
