The housing for the thermostat is from very thin, vacuum form plastic. It’s not really very robust, which is why the first one broke to begin with..

Frigoboat thermostat was shipped qwikly and was an easy install. The old one was 17 years old and had corroded and stuck in nearly full cold. Works great now!

The unit does not come with any instructions. You cannot bend the capillary tube to replicate the original bend without breaking the seal - as I discovered. The unit is useless without this connection,
