Customers praised this replacement thermostat as "a perfect match and fit" that works as a drop-in replacement for older units. Most found installation easy and performance excellent. However, one customer noted the plastic housing is thin and not very robust, and another reported the capillary tube breaks if bent, with no instructions included.
- A perfect match and fit. Worked nicely where the old one was.
- Drop in replacement for a 20 year old fridge thermostat
- Shipped quickly and was an easy install. Works great now!
It's all good, thanks very much
a perfect match and fit. Worked nicely where the old one was.
Excellent service and great availability of marine parts.
Website super easy to navigate, it was the exact right part, worked perfectly and was a drop in replacement for a 20 year old fridge thermostat
The housing for the thermostat is from very thin, vacuum form plastic. It’s not really very robust, which is why the first one broke to begin with..
Fast and efficient service. Well priced
Frigoboat thermostat was shipped qwikly and was an easy install. The old one was 17 years old and had corroded and stuck in nearly full cold. Works great now!
User friendly website, good prices.
The unit does not come with any instructions. You cannot bend the capillary tube to replicate the original bend without breaking the seal - as I discovered. The unit is useless without this connection,
Great product!
